Demolition and Ground Works.
Work commences in March, first with the demolition of the old bungalow and removal of foundations.
Once the site is cleared, a large amount of landscaping is required to lower the ground levels. This means the driveway gradients are much lower and the rear garden will be almost flat when stepping out of the house.
Once the levels are achieved, the footings are dug and the concrete is pumped in, before the slab is then cast.
The brick base is then brought up to above damp proof course ready for the timber frame to be erected.
Drainage channels are dug around the house and new pipes laid, ready for connection to the main drainage system.
