Final fit out is underway including bathrooms, kitchen and utility.
Meanwhile external works include driveways and paths being laid now the scaffold has been fully removed. The ground sourced heat pump is commissioned and the house is nearly ready for occupation.
Roofing is now complete so external works focus on cladding and render.
Meanwhile internally, second fix is well underway including fitting of the handmade oak staircase and tiling is in full flow.
External and internal works continue apace with roofing, plaster, decoration and basement fit out all taking place.
Now the SIPS frame is up, work rapidly progresses with roofing, joinery, electrics, plumbing and under floor heating and floor screed. Three months to go now until the house will be completed.
Work continues a pace in Bosham, with the basement and groundworks now complete and the erection of the timber frame.
This is a SIPS frame (Structural Insulated Panels System) which provides great levels of insulation and structural integrity in a combined solution.
From arriving on site, the whole structure including the roof is erected in just three weeks, allowing trades to commence first fix.
Since the sale of Vine House, it’s been a busy autumn here at Architectural Homes.
We’ve completed our first commissioned new build in Chichester and we expect to have planning approval for two new client commissioned new build projects, both in fabulous locations in the South Downs by the end of January.
In addition, work has been progressing on our latest project in Bosham.
Situated on ‘The Drive’, probably the most sought after road in the village, we are creating a fantastic new contemporary home complete with large basement. This has been a ground breaking move for us in more ways than one, but is testament to the professionalism and knowledge of our ground working team.
